The U.S. Census Bureau will host a webinar on Tuesday, January 20, at 1:30 p.m. ET to discuss updates to the methodology used for its Vintage 2025 population estimates.

The Population Estimates Program (PEP) is responsible for producing the official estimates of both population and housing units for the Census Bureau. Each year, PEP creates a series of time-based estimates beginning from the most recent decennial census up to the current vintage year, which is the latest year for which data are available.

The upcoming webinar will provide information about changes and improvements in how these estimates are developed for Vintage 2025.
