A new wildlife attraction called Sloth World is set to open on International Drive in Orlando in February 2026. Described as the world’s first “Slotharium,” the facility will feature a rainforest-style habitat where more than 40 sloths from multiple species live without cages, enclosures, or glass barriers.
Visitors will be able to enter the sloths’ environment and observe them as they move, eat, climb, and rest in a setting designed for their comfort. The experience is structured around conservation and education, with guided tours led by animal science professionals known as Sloth World Ambassadors. All guest interactions are hands-off and focus on teaching visitors about sloth behavior and the importance of habitat protection.
Pete Bandre, Vice President of Sloth World, said: “We want guests to feel like they’ve stepped into the sloths’ world—not the other way around. There are no cages or barriers—you step right into their environment. It’s peaceful, natural and unlike anything else. We want every visitor to walk out with a deeper understanding of how extraordinary these animals are, why their protection matters, and how simple actions can help support sloth populations around the world.”
The 7,500-square-foot facility at 6582 International Drive will have an intentionally calm layout with limited capacity to create an intimate experience for visitors. Tours will run daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., including holidays. Tickets cost $49 each; presales have begun and early tours are expected to sell out in advance.
Sloth World was created by owner Ben Agresta and inspired by his first sloth named Brucie. Part of all revenue from ticket sales will go toward supporting sloth rescue and habitat protection efforts in countries such as Guyana, Costa Rica, and Peru.
