SeaWorld Orlando’s Howl-O-Scream event has been recognized as one of the top Halloween attractions in the United States. In its fifth year, the event was voted among the Top 5 Best Theme Park Halloween Events nationally by USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards and was named the leading Halloween event in Florida.

This year introduces a new character, Havoc, who serves as the central figure for Howl-O-Scream. The park describes Havoc as “Once bound by the Sirens, he now rides free as the face of fear at Howl-O-Scream. With fire, fury and no mercy, Havoc leads guests into a night where chaos is worshipped and fear fuels the experience. His reign comes to life in the brand-new stunt show Throttle, featuring motorcycles, fire effects and bone-rattling action.”

To mark this national recognition, SeaWorld Orlando is offering discounted tickets through its Slash Sale promotion, with prices starting at $45.99 on select nights.

Attendees will have access to five haunted houses—three of which are new this year—six themed scare zones across the park, four nighttime thrill rides including some of Orlando’s tallest roller coasters, two groups of roaming scare actors, five themed bars serving specialty cocktails such as the Solar Flare Margarita, and limited-time food offerings like Spooky Teriyaki Chicken. Live entertainment will be featured throughout each evening, including Throttle starring Havoc.

The event runs on select nights through November 1 from 7 p.m. to midnight at SeaWorld Orlando located at 7007 SeaWorld Drive.

SeaWorld operates marine life theme parks that also serve as accredited zoos and aquariums focused on education and conservation efforts. The company has supported more than 42,000 animal rescues and contributed over $20 million through its Conservation Fund since 2003. SeaWorld maintains parks in Orlando, San Antonio, San Diego, and Abu Dhabi.
