Christina Lambert, a candidate in the 2027 West Palm Beach mayoral race, has garnered significant support from the real estate sector. According to campaign finance records, Lambert has raised over $1 million since beginning her campaign last year. This total includes both direct donations and contributions made to the political action committee Friends of Christina Lambert.
A network of limited liability companies and political action committees connects Lambert’s fundraising efforts to prominent developers in Palm Beach County such as Steve Ross, Jorge Pérez, Isaac Toledano, and Bobby Julien. With current mayor Keith James set to leave office due to term limits after serving since 2019, developers have increased their political spending as leadership changes loom.
Analysis by The Real Deal found that at least $121,000 of Lambert’s funds originated from real estate donors. Among those contributing are the Morrison family’s Sympatico Real Estate, Wexford Real Estate Investors, and Blair Brandt—who is married to top Palm Beach agent Margit Brandt and serves as chief marketing officer. The Morrison family is involved in two condominium projects in West Palm Beach: Mr. C Hotel & Residences West Palm Beach (in partnership with David Martin’s Terra) and the Berkeley (a joint venture with developer Al Adelson).
The Friends of Christina Lambert PAC secured $377,000 from Citizens for Law Order and Ethics—a group led by consultant Rick Asnani who also represents Related Ross among his clients. Donors to this PAC include spec developer Joe Farrell and the Seminole Tribe of Florida.
Additional funds come from another Asnani-managed PAC called Floridians from Economic Leadership, which counts major real estate contributors like Ross; PĂ©rez’s Related Group; Toledano’s BH Group; Julien’s Kolter Group; Stefan Soloviev; Two Roads Development; and NDT Development—the team behind West Palm Beach’s Nora District project.
Lambert drew attention when she began her campaign more than two years ahead of the 2027 election. Her campaign stated in a news release that raising $1 million was achieved at a record pace.
Her opponent, Gregg Weiss—currently a Palm Beach County Commissioner—has raised just over $237,000 according to recent filings.
