More than a week after reports claimed Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan were in contract to buy an estate on Indian Creek Island, new information suggests the couple is instead interested in the only property currently listed for sale on the island. The property, located at 7 Indian Creek Island Road, is a two-acre estate under construction with an asking price of $200 million.

According to an updated story from the Wall Street Journal, Zuckerberg and Chan are in discussions regarding this mansion. The owners, Dr. Aaron Rollins—known for his work as a cosmetic surgeon and as the inventor of AirSculpt—and Marine Rollins, put the estate on the market in November. Marine Rollins did not respond to requests for comment.

The listing agents for the property are Danny and Jill Hertzberg with the Jills Zeder Group at Coldwell Banker Realty. They declined to comment.

Earlier media reports suggested that Zuckerberg and Chan were buying a newly completed mansion owned by Peter Cancro, founder of Jersey Mike’s Subs, and his wife Tatiana Cancro. This report contributed to speculation about wealthy Californians moving to Florida due to California’s proposed wealth tax.

However, multiple market insiders told The Real Deal that the Cancros are not selling their estate. This clarification led observers to focus on which property Zuckerberg and Chan might actually be considering.

It remains uncertain how seriously they are contemplating purchasing 7 Indian Creek Island Road or whether it would involve moving to Florida. Construction on the home is expected to finish no earlier than mid-2027. If California voters approve a proposed wealth tax in November 2026—which would apply retroactively to assets held as of January 1, 2026—relocating after completion would not exempt them from potential tax obligations.
