Margaritaville Beach House Key West has been recognized as a winner in Good Housekeeping’s 2026 Family Travel Awards. The full list of awardees is available at goodhousekeeping.com/travel2026.

The resort, located along Smathers Beach, offers amenities including ocean views, spacious suites, poolside entertainment, lawn games, and activities for children. Guests also have access to snorkeling, kayaking, and other waterfront options. Dining is provided by the Tin Cup Chalice Bar & Chill, which serves local cuisine. A complimentary shuttle connects visitors to both Key West International Airport and Downtown Seaport Harbor.

Good Housekeeping selected its travel award winners with input from more than 125 travel testers—including staff members, industry experts, and consumer evaluators—who reviewed hundreds of destinations across five continents. Each participant completed surveys and submitted photos and videos from their experiences. Criteria for hotels included service quality, value, food options, entertainment offerings, room design, and overall atmosphere. Destination ratings took into account attractions’ appeal, accessibility, lodging variety, and safety.

Additionally, engineers and analysts from the Good Housekeeping Institute tested travel gear for performance and durability in laboratory settings. Products were further evaluated by 116 consumer testers during domestic and international trips using various modes of transportation.

“We’re thrilled to be honored by Good Housekeeping for our family-friendly spirit and signature Key West hospitality,” said Regional Director of Operations Milos Davidovic. “Whether guests are exploring the island, relaxing by the pool, or sharing stories over a sunset cocktail, we’re proud to create moments that reflect the fun, warmth, and easygoing charm that make this destination so special.”

The Margaritaville Beach House Key West features 186 rooms with amenities such as a fitness center open around the clock and an on-site shop. The property also offers meeting spaces totaling over 4,000 square feet across multiple venues—including an outdoor Tiki Hut—and organizes beachfront weddings with views of the Atlantic Ocean.
