Marcus & Millichap hires Max Beyderman; Brown Harris Stevens expands Miami offices

Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation has appointed Max Beyderman as senior managing director in its Fort Lauderdale office. Beyderman will be responsible for commercial debt and equity financing across different types of properties. According to his LinkedIn profile, Beyderman worked independently as a commercial finance specialist over the past year. Prior to that, he was managing director at Meridian Capital Group from 2006 to 2024.

Origin Construction, based in Miami, has named Thomas Burkett as its chief financial officer. Burkett’s recent experience includes serving as CFO at Butters Group for five months and nearly four years as senior vice president of finance at Hernandez Construction & Development.

Brown Harris Stevens has expanded its team in Miami-Dade County by adding several agents. Anamaria Ferrao, Maayan Alishayev, and Maria Pellegrini are joining the Miami Beach office, while Mariona Bosca, Natalie Scherr, and Noelia Espinales will work out of the South Miami location. In May, David Deza became managing director of Brown Harris Stevens’ Miami office and has since led recruitment efforts there.
