The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau announced on March 16 a list of events and activities happening in Fort Myers and nearby areas for the week of March 16 to March 22.
The weekly update aims to inform residents and visitors about ongoing and upcoming opportunities for entertainment, education, and recreation in the region. More details about these events can be found at visitfortmyers.com.
Among the ongoing activities are Adventures in Paradise Cruises and Tours, which depart nightly from Port Comfort Road in Fort Myers with ticket prices ranging from $39 to $49. The Butterfly House tours at Rotary Park in Cape Coral are available on Monday, Friday, and Saturday mornings with donations accepted. Everglades Day Safari offers daily excursions departing from Fort Myers and Estero at $200 per person. Tarpon Bay Explorers hosts kayak tours every Wednesday morning on Sanibel Island for adults and children. True Tours provides several history-themed walking tours throughout the week in downtown Fort Myers, including cemetery tours, haunted history walks, and general history routes.
For those interested in arts and culture, venues such as Alliance for the Arts, Americana Community Music Association, Arts Bonita, Bayside Park Concert Series, The Belle Theatre, Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, Florida Repertory Theatre, and Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center offer performances or exhibits across various locations in Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, Cape Coral, and Fort Myers Beach.
