As the year draws to a close, International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) International President Brian Bryant has issued a holiday message to union members and their families.

Bryant acknowledged the important role IAM members play across various industries, including airports, railroads, shops, facilities, and worksites that are essential to daily life. He recognized the sacrifices made by union members who continue working during the holidays while others celebrate at home.

“I see the sacrifice, the long hours, and the pride you take in your craft. It doesn’t go unnoticed,” Bryant said.

He emphasized that the union is more than just contracts and negotiations. “The holidays also remind us that our union is more than contracts and negotiations – it’s a family. It’s the way we show up for one another, lift each other, and make sure no member stands alone. That spirit of solidarity is what makes the IAM Union strong, and it’s what gives me hope for the year ahead.”

Bryant expressed gratitude on behalf of himself and the entire IAM Executive Council: “Thank you for everything you do, not just for our union, but for your communities and for working people everywhere. We are grateful for each and every one of you.”

He concluded his message with well wishes: “On behalf of the entire IAM Executive Council, I wish you and your loved ones a season filled with peace, warmth, and gratitude – and a New Year full of hope and opportunity.”
