IAM members from the Southern Territory recently convened in Biloxi, Mississippi for the Southern States Conference. The event brought together delegates and leaders to focus on strengthening unity and building legislative and political influence throughout the region.
Participants discussed approaches to protect workers’ rights, increase union membership, and promote policies that benefit working families in the South.
According to the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), these discussions are part of ongoing efforts to support labor initiatives and expand union presence across southern states.
The conference highlighted collective strategies aimed at defending employee protections while advocating for measures that align with the interests of working communities in the area.
