Holiday events announced at St. Andrews State Park and Wakulla Springs

St. Andrews State Park in Panama City and Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park in Wakulla Springs have released their holiday event schedules for 2025. Both parks are managed by Adventures Unbound by Guest Services, a hospitality company that operates outdoor recreation sites.

At St. Andrews State Park, the annual Golf Cart Parade is set for December 13. Visitors can decorate their own golf carts or use one provided by the park, with participants meeting at the camp at 11 a.m. and the parade starting at noon. The park will also host a Christmas Shell Island Sunset Cruise from December 20 to 28, which includes carols, hot cocoa, and cookies.

The park has been recognized as number seven on Dr. Beach’s Top 10 Beaches for 2025 and is known for activities such as sunset cruises, ferry rides to Shell Island, paddle board rentals, and pontoon rentals. From November 27 through December 3, there will be a discount of 25 percent on glamping tent rentals; guests using this offer will receive a one-day golf cart or bike rental for two people. The Lodge at Wakulla Springs inside Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park will hold several seasonal events. On November 27, it will serve a Thanksgiving buffet from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., priced at $55.99 plus tax and gratuity for adults and $21.99 plus tax and gratuity for children aged twelve and under. On November 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Wakulla Springs Makers Market will feature local artisans selling handmade gifts and crafts in the Terrace and Back Lawn areas.

In December, Brunch With Santa is scheduled for December 7 and December 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., including food, holiday activities, and visits from Santa Claus with goodie bags for children; prices are $40 for adults aged thirteen and over, $26 for children ages four to twelve, and $11 for children ages two to three.

A Christmas Buffet will take place on December 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., costing $54.95 plus tax and gratuity for adults and $19.99 plus tax and gratuity for kids thirteen years old or younger. The Lodge’s dining room will also be open until ten o’clock on New Year’s Eve; further details are expected soon.

Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park features one of the world’s largest freshwater springs surrounded by cypress swamp habitat; popular activities include boat tours, birding, hiking, biking, horseback riding, as well as weddings hosted at The Lodge built in the Spanish style of the nineteen-thirties depicting Old Florida wildlife scenes.
