Fort Myers schedules public meeting for input on use of federal grant funds

Residents and local organizations in Fort Myers are invited to participate in a public meeting scheduled for November 17, 2025. The event will take place at the Southwest Florida Enterprise Center at 3903 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, starting at 5:00 p.m.

The meeting will focus on the review of the city’s 2024 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER). This report outlines how federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds were allocated during the past year to address housing improvements, neighborhood conditions, and economic opportunities for residents with low to moderate incomes.

Attendees will have an opportunity to examine the CAPER, provide feedback, ask questions, and contribute input that may influence future community development priorities in Fort Myers.
