A range of ongoing events are available for residents and visitors. Adventures in Paradise offers nightly cruises and tours departing from Port Comfort Road in Fort Myers, with ticket prices ranging from $39 to $49. In Cape Coral, guided tours of the Butterfly House at Rotary Park take place on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays; donations are accepted for entry.
For those interested in nature excursions, Everglades Day Safari departs daily from Fort Myers and Estero. The tour runs from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., costing $200 per person. Sundial Beach Resort & Spa on Sanibel Island provides day passes that include dining credits, with pricing based on the date selected.
On Sanibel Island, Tarpon Bay Explorers hosts kayak tours every Wednesday morning. Adults pay $40 while children’s tickets are $35.
True Tours conducts various history-themed walking tours in downtown Fort Myers, including cemetery tours and haunted history walks. Reservations are required for these experiences.
The area also features a variety of performing arts venues and art exhibits such as Alliance for the Arts and Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre in Fort Myers, as well as Arts Bonita’s two locations in Bonita Springs.
