Each week, the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau (VCB) shares a list of activities and events happening in Fort Myers and nearby areas. More details about these and other events can be found at visitfortmyers.com.

A range of ongoing activities are available for residents and visitors. Adventures in Paradise Cruises and Tours offers daily cruises from Fort Myers starting at $39 per person. The Butterfly House in Cape Coral provides tours on select mornings, accepting donations for entry. Everglades Day Safari departs daily from Fort Myers and Estero, with tickets priced at $200 per person.

The Sundial Beach Resort & Spa on Sanibel Island is offering a day pass promotion that includes dining credits, with special rates for Lee County residents. Kayak tours by Tarpon Bay Explorers take place on Wednesdays on Sanibel Island. True Tours conducts several history-themed walking tours in downtown Fort Myers, including cemetery stories and haunted history walks.

Several venues host performing arts shows and art exhibits throughout the week. These include the Alliance for the Arts, Americana Community Music Association, Arts Bonita in Bonita Springs, Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, Bayside Park Concert Series at Fort Myers Beach, and Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in downtown Fort Myers.

For those interested in podcasts, Shellcast—produced by the Lee County VCB—highlights Southwest Florida’s attractions. Another podcast features interviews with Sanibel and Captiva residents discussing island life. An audio guide app called Otocast provides self-guided tours of more than 30 historic sites around Fort Myers.
