The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau (VCB) has released its weekly list of activities and events for Fort Myers and nearby areas for the week of January 26 to February 1, 2026. Residents and visitors can find more event details at visitfortmyers.com.

Among the ongoing events is Adventures in Paradise Cruises and Tours, which departs nightly at 5 p.m. from Port Comfort Road in Fort Myers with tickets ranging from $39 to $49. Butterfly House tours are available at Rotary Park in Cape Coral on Monday, Friday, and Saturday mornings; donations are accepted for entry.

Everglades Day Safari offers daily excursions departing from Fort Myers and Estero between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., priced at $200 per person. Sundial Beach Resort & Spa on Sanibel Island provides day passes that include dining credits, with adult rates varying by date.

For those interested in nature tours, Tarpon Bay Explorers hosts kayak tours every Wednesday morning on Sanibel Island. History enthusiasts can join True Tours for various themed walking tours in downtown Fort Myers throughout the week.

Several performing arts venues will be open during this period, including Alliance for the Arts, Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, Florida Repertory Theatre, Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, as well as concert series at Bayside Park in Fort Myers Beach. The Americana Community Music Association will also host performances at Alliance for the Arts.

Art exhibits are available at both locations of Arts Bonita in Bonita Springs—the Center for Performing Arts and Visual Arts Center.

Podcasts highlighting Southwest Florida are accessible online. “Shellcast,” produced by the Lee County VCB, explores regional attractions and is available on major podcast platforms as well as VisitFortMyers.com/shellcast. “The Sanibel Captiva Guide Podcast” features interviews with local residents about island history and experiences.

Additionally, Otocast offers an audio guide app featuring over 30 historic sites across Fort Myers; it is available through both the App Store and Google Play.
