Fort Myers announces holiday facility closures and adjusted schedules

City of Fort Myers has announced changes to operating hours for several city facilities during the upcoming holiday season.

City Hall will be closed on December 25, 2025, and January 1, 2026.

The S.T.A.R.S. Complex will host the “Hoops on Mission Event: Bibles and Basketballs” on December 20, 2025. On December 21, it will operate under normal hours from noon to 5 p.m. Winter Camp hours are scheduled from December 22 to December 24, running from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., with an early closure at 2 p.m. on December 24. The complex will be closed on December 25 and open from December 29 through January 5 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., except for January 1 when it is closed. Regular afterschool and community programs resume on January 6.

The Racquet Club will close early at 4:30 p.m. on December 24 and remain closed on December 25, December 31, and January 1. It will maintain normal business hours from December 26 through December 30 and resume regular operations on January 2.

At the Skatium, closures are scheduled for both December 24 and December 25 as well as January 1. On New Year’s Eve (December 31), the facility will close at 5 p.m.
