Fort Myers announces changes to waste collection for Thanksgiving holiday

The City of Fort Myers Solid Waste Division has announced changes to its collection schedule due to the Thanksgiving holiday. On Thursday, November 27th, the division will be closed and there will be no residential or commercial trash or recycling collection on that day.

Services normally scheduled for Thursday will move to Friday, November 28th. Friday collections will instead occur on Saturday, November 29th. The regular schedule is set to resume on Monday, December 1st.

Additionally, the Utility Billing office will also be closed on November 27th and 28th.
