The Florida Public Service Commission (FPSC) has scheduled a virtual customer meeting for those served by Sun Communities Finance, LLC, operating as Water Oak Utility. The session will take place on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

Water Oak Utility submitted an application to increase its rates in June 2025. The company currently serves 1,265 residential customers and 17 general service customers in Lake County.

The upcoming meeting aims to give customers the chance to share their comments about the quality of service and the rate-setting process. According to the FPSC, “All customer input will be considered by the Commission when it evaluates the utility’s rate increase request.”

Customers who want to speak during the meeting must register beforehand. Registration is available through the FPSC’s online speaker sign-up form under the “Hot Topics” section on its homepage. Those without internet access can register by calling (850) 413-7080 or emailing.

Speaker registration begins at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7, and ends at noon on Tuesday, January 20.

A live broadcast of the meeting will be accessible online by selecting “Watch Live and Archived PSC Events.”
