MemberAssist, a new service designed to support members of the Florida Education Association (FEA), has been introduced to help educators and staff manage everyday stress. The service aims to assist with various tasks such as understanding benefits, comparing insurance options, booking appointments, planning vacations, and finding local services.
According to the announcement, FEA members can access MemberAssist at no cost, while the general public would pay $948 per year for similar services. The service connects users with real people who handle requests directly, eliminating automated phone systems or complicated processes.
The initiative is positioned as a way to allow education professionals—including teachers, support staff, and retirees—to focus on their primary responsibilities by offloading time-consuming personal tasks. “Just the support you need, when you need it,” the statement reads.
The association emphasizes that MemberAssist is part of its broader effort to strengthen union support by providing practical daily assistance to its members.
