Rob Long, currently serving as Delray Beach City Commissioner and Vice Mayor, has received the endorsement of the Florida Chamber of Commerce for the House District 90 special election. Long’s tenure in city government has focused on economic development and public safety to address the needs of a growing population. He has also contributed to regional infrastructure improvements through his role on the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency Governing Board.
Mark Wilson, President & CEO of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, expressed support for Long’s candidacy. “The Florida Chamber of Commerce is pleased to endorse Rob Long as House District 90’s next state representative,” Wilson said. “Rob has demonstrated a proven record of promoting economic development and infrastructure improvements for the people of Palm Beach County. We are confident in Rob’s commitment to the free market and his willingness to fight to create good-paying jobs to make Florida even more competitive.”
Long responded to the endorsement by emphasizing shared priorities with the Chamber. “As a local business owner, I’m especially honored to have the support of the Florida Chamber of Commerce in this special election,” he said. “I share their commitment to growing Florida’s economy, supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs, and creating high-quality jobs.”
The Chamber stated it will leverage its experience in political advocacy to support Long’s campaign.
