Florida Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Mark Wilson recently spoke on News4Jax about the state’s economic progress, highlighting ongoing growth in Florida’s economy and the revival of manufacturing. Wilson also noted that Florida is increasingly attractive for business relocations and startups.
Wilson discussed the Future of Florida Forum (F3), an event designed to bring together leaders with a shared goal. “F3 unites leaders around the goal of making Florida the tenth-largest economy in the world by 2030,” Wilson said during the interview.
The Future of Florida Forum will take place on October 27-28 in Orlando, gathering business, political, non-profit, and community stakeholders to discuss strategies for securing Florida’s economic future.
Wilson also mentioned initiatives such as the Coolest Thing Made in Florida Competition, which aims to highlight innovation within the state’s manufacturing sector.
