The Florida Board of Bar Examiners has released the results of the July 2025 General Bar Examination, according to an announcement by Chair Timothy Danninger of Jacksonville. The release was approved by the Supreme Court of Florida.

A total of 2,152 first-time applicants sat for the full Bar Examination on July 29-30, 2025, in Tampa. Of those, 1,687 passed, resulting in a passage rate of 78.4 percent among first-time test takers.

The Bar Examination is composed of several sections: Part A and Part B of the General Bar Examination and the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination. Some candidates may take only one part if they are repeating or transferring scores from another jurisdiction. Applicants who have previously passed certain sections are required to retake only those portions not yet completed successfully.
