Film Florida has announced its next quarterly meeting will take place on December 11 and 12, 2025, in Orlando. The gathering will be held at Eola View, located at 150 E. Central Blvd, with accommodations available at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Downtown.

The event will feature meetings for Film Florida Committees and Councils as well as a Board of Directors session. For those unable to attend in person, Zoom access will be provided. The organization encourages in-person attendees to bring an unwrapped toy or gift for donation to a Central Florida group during the holiday season.

A 50/50 raffle is also planned during the meetings. Tickets are priced at $5 each or five for $20, and payment can be made via cash, credit card, or digital methods. Both in-person and virtual participants may enter. The raffle winner will receive half of the proceeds collected; the other half will support Film Florida’s grant and scholarship fund.

On Thursday, December 11, committee and council meetings are scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with call-in information available upon request for members who wish to participate remotely. That evening, Women in Film & Television Florida will host its Jingle Mingle event at Eola View from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Friday’s agenda includes a continental breakfast for members at 9:00 a.m., followed by the Board of Directors meeting from 9:30 a.m. to noon. The board meeting is open to the public and remote participation details can be requested by email.

Hotel rooms are offered at a group rate of $199 per night plus taxes at Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Downtown, which provides amenities such as parking for $24 per day, a pool, fitness center, complimentary evening reception, and daily cooked-to-order breakfast for guests. The group rate is available until November 19 or until rooms sell out.

Those interested in joining member-only sessions are invited to become members through Film Florida’s website.

“We hope you will participate, either in person or virtually, we plan on having a very productive few days. Thank you for your continued support and engagement!”
