Film Florida annual meeting set for May 2026 in Fort Lauderdale

Film Florida has announced that its Annual Meeting will take place on May 5 and 6, 2026, in Fort Lauderdale. The Dalmar hotel at 299 N Federal Highway will host the meetings and related events.

The schedule includes Committee and Council meetings for Film Florida members on May 5, running from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Those interested in participating remotely can request call-in details by emailing info@filmflorida.org.

On the evening of May 5, the Film Florida Legends Award Ceremony will be held at the Gray Box Theater in Wilton Manors from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Ticket information is expected to be released soon.

The following day, May 6, begins with a continental breakfast for members at The Dalmar at 9:00 a.m., followed by the Board of Directors meeting from 9:30 a.m. to noon. The board meeting is open to the public, and remote participation is available upon request via email.

A virtual 50/50 raffle will also be conducted during the event, with tickets priced at $5 each or five for $20. Payments can be made through credit card, PayPal, Venmo or Zelle. The winner will receive half of the proceeds collected; the other half will support Film Florida’s grant and scholarship fund. Attendance at the drawing is not required to win.

Additionally, attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for donation to a local food pantry or similar organization.

Those who are not currently members but wish to attend member-only sessions are invited to join Film Florida.
