The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau (VCB) has released its weekly guide to events and activities in Fort Myers and nearby areas for the week of March 2-8, 2026. The VCB provides these updates every Monday to inform residents and visitors about local happenings.

A range of ongoing events is available throughout the week. Adventures in Paradise offers nightly cruises and tours departing from Port Comfort Road in Fort Myers, with tickets ranging from $39 to $49. Butterfly House tours take place at Rotary Park in Cape Coral on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays; donations are accepted for entry.

For those interested in nature excursions, the Everglades Day Safari departs daily from Fort Myers and Estero between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., costing $200 per person. Tarpon Bay Explorers conducts kayak tours on Sanibel Island every Wednesday morning, with prices set at $40 for adults and $35 for children.

History enthusiasts can join True Tours for several themed walking tours in downtown Fort Myers. These include cemetery stories, haunted history walks, river district explorations, and unique local history sessions. Most tours require reservations and cost $24 per participant.

Performing arts venues across the region continue their programming as well. The Alliance for the Arts hosts exhibits at its McGregor Boulevard location in Fort Myers. Americana Community Music Association holds events at All Faiths Unitarian Church on McGregor Boulevard. Arts Bonita operates two locations in Bonita Springs offering exhibits at both a performing arts center and a visual arts center.

Other entertainment options include concerts at Bayside Park on Fort Myers Beach, shows at The Belle Theatre in Cape Coral, performances at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre on Colonial Boulevard, productions by Florida Repertory Theatre on Bay Street, and exhibitions or events at Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center downtown.

Several podcasts provide additional ways to explore Southwest Florida’s culture and history. “Shellcast,” produced by the Lee County VCB, shares insights into what makes the area unique; it is available through major podcast platforms or directly via VisitFortMyers.com/shellcast. “The Sanibel Captiva Guide Podcast” features interviews with locals about island life and history.
