The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau (VCB) has released its weekly list of activities and events taking place in Fort Myers and nearby areas for the week of January 12-18, 2026. The VCB provides updates every Monday on things to do around the city and encourages residents and visitors to find more event information at visitfortmyers.com.

Among the ongoing events is Adventures in Paradise Cruises and Tours, which departs nightly from Fort Myers with tickets ranging from $39 to $49. The Butterfly House in Cape Coral offers tours at Rotary Park on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays with donations accepted as admission. Everglades Day Safari operates daily tours departing from Fort Myers and Estero for $200 per person.

Sundial Beach Resort & Spa on Sanibel Island offers day passes between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., with adult prices including dining credits. Tarpon Bay Explorers runs kayak tours every Wednesday morning on Sanibel Island, while True Tours provides a variety of history-themed walking tours in downtown Fort Myers throughout the week.

For those interested in performing arts or exhibits, venues such as Alliance for the Arts, Americana Community Music Association, Arts Bonita, Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, Florida Repertory Theatre, and Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center are hosting various programs across Fort Myers and Bonita Springs.

The Bayside Park Concert Series continues at Fort Myers Beach’s Bayside Park. Information about these performances can be found at fortmyersbeach.org.

In addition to live events, several podcasts highlight local culture. “Shellcast,” produced by the Lee County VCB, explores what makes Southwest Florida unique; it is available through major podcast platforms or VisitFortMyers.com/shellcast. Another podcast, “The Sanibel Captiva Guide Podcast,” features interviews with people who contribute to life on Sanibel and Captiva islands.
