The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau (VCB) has released its weekly update on activities and events happening in Fort Myers and the surrounding areas for the week of October 13-19, 2025. The bureau provides regular updates to help residents and visitors find local attractions and happenings. More information about upcoming events can be found at visitfortmyers.com.
Ongoing activities include a range of tours and experiences. Adventures in Paradise offers cruises and tours every evening at 5 p.m., with ticket prices ranging from $39 to $49. These depart from 14341 Port Comfort Road in Fort Myers, and more details are available at adventureinparadiseinc.com.
In Cape Coral, Butterfly House tours are held at Rotary Park on Monday, Friday, and Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Donations are accepted for admission, and further information is available through ccfriendsofwildlife.org or by calling 239-549-4606.
Everglades Day Safari operates daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., departing from both Fort Myers and Estero. Tickets cost $200 per person, with additional information at ecosafari.com or by phone at 239-472-1559.
At Sundial Beach Resort & Spa on Sanibel Island, a limited-time two-for-one day pass offer is available. Two adults can visit for $100, which includes a $60 dining credit; children ages 3-12 can enter for $60 each with a $30 dining credit. Lee County residents receive discounted rates.
Tarpon Bay Explorers conducts kayak tours on Wednesdays at 10 a.m., with adult tickets priced at $40 and children’s tickets at $35. Tours begin at 900 Tarpon Bay Road on Sanibel Island.
True Tours hosts various historical walking tours in Fort Myers’ River District. Offerings include cemetery tours Wednesday mornings, haunted history tours Wednesday evenings as well as select Fridays and Saturdays, and River District history tours Saturday mornings. Reservations are required.
The area also features performing arts venues such as Alliance for the Arts, Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, Americana Community Music Association, Arts Bonita in Bonita Springs, and the Bayside Park Concert Series on Fort Myers Beach.
