A new food hall is set to open next summer in Miami Beach, occupying the former Time Out Market space near Lincoln Road. City Food Hall has leased the 20,900-square-foot venue at 1601 Drexel Avenue. Irma Figueroa of Comras Company represented City Food Hall, while Dillon Maya of Avenue acted for the landlord. The Miami-based company, led by Peter Rounce, already operates locations across Florida and plans to expand to Athens, Georgia. Camila Dulcetti of Nova Design will oversee interior design.

Time Out Market previously closed its South Beach location in 2023 after four years of operation and an extended closure during the pandemic lockdown. The property is owned by Paul Cejas through PLC Investments.

Several other businesses have recently signed leases or opened locations in South Florida:

The group has leased 6,500 square feet for a modern American restaurant with various amenities and expects to open in the third quarter of next year. Urban-X Group completed River Landing in 2020; it includes residential units, retail space, offices, and a dedicated restaurant row.
