Shaklee Corp. CEO Roger Barnett and his wife, journalist Sloan Barnett, have sold their waterfront mansion in Coconut Grove for $71.9 million. The 10,400-square-foot property, located at 3085 Munroe Drive, was purchased by a trust managed by Greenberg Traurig attorney Benjamin Babcock and Mary McFadden Quisenberry, chief operating officer at Rosewood Family Advisors.

The Barnetts originally bought the nearly one-acre estate from billionaire Jorge Mas in 2021 for $45.9 million. This recent sale represents an increase of more than 60 percent over their purchase price nearly five years ago. The home features seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms and was completed in 2015.

Roger Barnett leads Shaklee Corp., a company known for nutrition and green cleaning products. He also founded Beauty.com, an early online cosmetics retailer. He is the son of Victor Barnett, former chairman of Burberry, and part of the Wolfson family. Sloan Barnett is a lawyer and journalist who has written books on nutrition; she is the daughter of the late billionaire George Lindemann.

In addition to this property, the Barnetts own another waterfront mansion at 46 Star Island Drive, which they acquired in 2021 for $38 million.

Coconut Grove has recently seen several high-value real estate transactions. The neighborhood has attracted billionaires such as hedge fund manager Ken Griffin, who paid nearly $107 million for a four-acre waterfront estate that previously belonged to Adrienne Arsht in 2022.

Last month, Jorge Mas—board chairman of MasTec and managing owner of Inter Miami CF—sold a 7.3-acre residential lot adjacent to the Kampong botanical garden in Coconut Grove to an undisclosed buyer for more than $100 million.

Also in December, Banyan Ridge—a 4.5-acre waterfront compound at 3585 Anchorage Way—was sold for $101.5 million according to MLS records. The seller was the estate of Jonathan Lewis, a notable Miami restaurateur and LGBT advocate; the property had been listed most recently at $115 million.
