Amelia Island will host its annual Restaurant Week from January 16 to 25, highlighting 24 locally owned restaurants and their signature dishes. The event is coordinated by the Amelia Island Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) and aims to support small, independent businesses in the area.

“Every year, Restaurant Week gives us another chance to lift up the chefs, owners, and family-run establishments that are the heart of Amelia Island,” said Gil Langley, President and CEO of the Amelia Island CVB. “These restaurants aren’t just places to eat; they’re cornerstones of our community’s identity. Supporting them strengthens Amelia Island as a whole, and we’re proud to champion the small businesses that drive our culinary reputation.”

This year’s Restaurant Week introduces a focus on each restaurant’s “claim to fame,” which features a signature dish or specialty unique to each establishment. Diners can expect a variety of offerings ranging from Mediterranean cuisine and seafood classics to chef-inspired creations.

The CVB is working with participating restaurants to encourage reservations and increase business during what is typically a slower season for local eateries. The event includes both fine dining options and casual favorites.

Special events will bookend Restaurant Week. The Opening Dinner titled “New Traditions” takes place at Nonna Mia at Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa on January 15, featuring Italian dishes inspired by coastal European flavors served family-style. The Closing Dinner, “A Taste of Every Table,” will be held at Salt at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island on January 25. Four chefs de cuisine from The Ritz-Carlton’s restaurants will present their personal favorites in a one-night tasting event.
